Lovatsville and ATA Strengthen Ties

Fledgling Victorian stallion farm Lovatsville have continued their strategic partnership with the Australian Trainer’s Association (ATA) in an initiative that is designed to support trainers through a series of stallion nominations aligned to upcoming races in regional Victoria this Spring.

Lovatsville will be providing a series of nominations to each of the stallions on their 2025 roster for the winning trainers of select regional races over the coming months.

Gold Trip (Fr) is one of the Lovatsville sires.

To be eligible to receive the stallion nomination the winning trainer (or next best placegetter) of the select races is required to be a current member of the ATA.  The trainer can either choose to use that nomination on a mare that they own themselves, or monetise within their clientbase.

Stephen Bell, CEO of the ATA, is thrilled to continue the partnership with Lovatsville off the back of popular member support from the 2024 iteration with the likes of Malua Racing, Matt Cumani and Archie Alexander winning nominations “This announcement continues the great strides we are making on behalf of our members, rewarding them for the contribution to the industry. They now have the opportunity to compete for a “bonus”  $170,000 through these nominations, on top of the already fantastic prize money available in Victoria.”

Racing Victoria CEO Aaron Morrison lauded the initiative “We commend Sam White and the team at Lovatsville for their positive initiative in conjunction with the ATA which further rewards those competing here in Victoria. It’s great to see the intersection between our racing and breeding sectors, both of which are going from strength to strength.”

Lovatsville, located at Seymour Park in Victoria on Northwood Rd, Seymour, has a five-strong roster of proven, commercial sires:

Move To Strike: The only Group 1 winning 2 year-old to ever stand at stud by I Am Invincible. Standing for $16,500 (incl. GST).

Royal Meeting: Champion Victorian 1st Season Sire and the sire of Group 1 Blue Diamond filly, Hayasugi. Standing for $22,000 (incl. GST)

 Fierce Impact: Three-time Group 1 winning Champion miler by Deep Impact, whose second crop yearlings sold to $400,000. Standing for $13,750 (incl. GST).

Generation: Stunning Snitzel Group 1 performed sprinter out of star 2 year-old filly Fontition. Standing at $11,000 (incl. GST).

Gold Trip: Melbourne Cup winner and Turnbull Stakes weight-for-age Champion. Standing for $8,800 (incl. GST).
