"After consultation with her owners, John and Deb Camilleri and our vets, we have decided to retire her with immediate effect," the stable said in a statement.

"She joined our stable as a yearling in May 2021 and went on to record seven wins, five at Group 1 level including 3 Group 1 victories and earned more than $6m in prizemoney.

"She has been a wonderful flag bearer for the stable, who delivered us unforgettable moments on the track and we are very grateful to John and Deb for entrusting us with their star mare, who will fondly be remembered as Rob's first Group 1 winner."

Sunshine in Paris was also a sale ring star.

After winning the Group I ATC Surround Stakes at three, Sunshine in Paris was offered at the 2023 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale where she was bought by James Harron Bloodstock on behalf of Fairway Thoroughbreds for $3.9million.

She won two more G1 races subsequently and retires with the impressive  record of seven wins and five placings from 17 starts with prizemoney of $6million.

Sunshine in Paris filled the Everest slot of her owners Fairway Thoroughbreds last year finishing fifth to Bella Nipotina and was expected to do so again.
