Toronado a Crowd Pleaser at Swettenham Parade

Tara Madgwick - Monday August 18

With Adam Sangster at the gate to welcome guests to Swettenham Stud for their annual stallion parade last Thursday afternoon and a glass of wine on arrival it did not take long for visitors to feel at home.

Grant Courtney of Pao Ma Photography attended the parade and captured some gorgeous images, so enjoy!

Toronado (IRE) knows how to make an entrance!

Swettenham Stud is home to elite sire Toronado (IRE), who looks set to take over from Deep Field as the preferred Australian based sire for HK buyers and is the highest priced sire in Victoria this year with a fee of $88,000.

A Group I winning miler by High Chaparral, Toronado has proven to be an outstanding source of sprinter milers with 44 stakes-winners headed by six G1 winners, four of them sprinters.
