Tara Madgwick - Tuesday August 5

A debut 2YO winner that matured to become a dual Group I winner at 1400 and 2000m, MoUnga was also 10 times G1 placed and retired with earnings of $3.8million.

Carrying the best of Waikato Stud bloodlines with his first two dams by O’Reilly and Centaine, Mo’Unga covered nearly 90 mares last spring in his first season.

A half-sister to stakes-winner Tudor, Emphatically has had two winners from three foals to race.

Mo’Unga is priced this spring at $25,000 and stands alongside Cool Aza Beel at $16,500, so if you are a fan of Savabeel, who has just turned 24, Newhaven Park is going to be right on your radar as they stand his only two sons at stud in Australia.
