Spring was in the air at Warwick Farm on Friday morning with a couple of heats for Group and Listed winners that included Lady Shenandaoh, Ceolwulf, plus Cups contender Sir Delius (GB).

Loved the look of Sir Delius (GB) here just cruising along on the bit. We’ve only seen this expensive Frankel stallion once at the races in Australia when he won a G3 in Brisbane on a heavy track and while it’s still a long way to the Melbourne Cup, he’s a horse that will be on the radar for a lot of people.

Bonita Queen often trials like a scalded cat and did so here with all eyes on boom filly Lady Shenadoah, who was happy  to hack along for James McDonald and worked to the line under a hold.

She went through her 3YO season undefeated winning five from five at distances of 1200 to 1600m and the world is her oyster.
