The Ciaron Maher trained Jimmysstar was a G1 winner twice this season in the MRC Oakleigh Plate (1100m) and ATC All Aged Stakes (1400m) and will run in The Everest taking the TAB slot.

Per Incanto has been represented previously in The Everest by Lost and Running who was fourth to Nature Strip in 2021 and then was scratched from the race due to a minor leg injury in 2022 when he was regarded as a winning hope.

Jimmysstar could well make amends.
