Lindsay Park Racing produced the tenth 2YO winner of the season for Spirit of Boom at Pakenham on Monday when the well backed favourite Idleonby saluted at her second start.

Third on debut at Bendigo earlier this month behind highly regarded Written Tycoon filly Signature Scent, Idleonby made good progress out of that run and had no trouble beating older rivals to win the 1000m maiden by half a length.

Winning rider Jackson Radley was full of praise for the filly.

Lindsay Park Racing have had some luck with Spirit of Boom and have trained both of his juvenile stakes-winners this season in Shining Smile and Gin Spirit.

Idleonby was a $250,000 Magic Millions purchase for Lindsay Park Racing from the Eureka Stud draft and is the second winner from Zoom By, a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Firenza (dam of Group III winner Tuscan Sling) and to the dam of Group winners Lite’n in my Veins, Written Beauty and Hi World.

Zoom By produced another filly by Spirit of Boom last spring and is now back in foal to him again.

Spirit of Boom is priced at $38,500 this spring at Eureka Stud in Queensland.
