From the 1st of July, Vinery Stud is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam White as Interim General Manager, following the resignation of Peter Orton. A dedicated and long-standing member of the Vinery team, Adam brings a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of both the business and the industry to this pivotal role.
With over 25 years of service at Vinery, Adam has held senior positions that have equipped him with the expertise and insight necessary to lead the organisation through this transitional period. His deep knowledge of our clients, their horses, our staff, and operations—combined with his enduring passion for the thoroughbred industry—will be instrumental in maintaining Vinery’s momentum and continuing its success.
Adam joined Vinery in April 2000, playing an integral role in cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Known for his keen eye for quality young thoroughbreds, Adam has been part of the team responsible for the successful acquisition of horses such as Exceedance and Headwater, both of whom are now standout stallions on our current roster.
“We as a group owe a great deal of gratitude to Peter for creating such a well-respected brand. I have been in the very fortunate position of being there for the entire journey and I am eagerly looking forward to the next part of the farm’s story. It is such an exciting time for Vinery, with the rapid rise of a stallion like Ole Kirk and we have such a great resource in the farm itself as it continues to produce racehorses of the highest level. Having such a dynamic team of people that I have enjoyed working alongside for a great deal of time will ensure that this sale ring and racetrack success continues. We are actively building our Broodmare band with the wonderful clientele we have around us and we look forward to building those relationships further”, Adam White.
Vinery Stud remains committed to excellence within the industry and under Adam’s interim leadership, the team is well-positioned to continue its strong trajectory into the future
