A modest $50,000 Inglis Premier purchase for her trainer, Teine Aulelia was bred and sold by Yulong and comes with a big pedigree as she is a half-sister to UK stakes-winner Lady Hamana being the second winner from well bred Shamardal mare Lake Hamana (GB).

Lake Hamana is an unraced half-sister to Group I winner Sobetsu, the dam of Group II winner English Rose, and she traces back to blue hen Doff the Derby, dam of Champion 3YO Colt Generous (Epsom Derby)  and Champion 3YO Filly Imagine (Epsom Oaks).

Teine Aulelia is the third winner from 25 starters for Tagaloa with his best to date being stakes-winner winner Spicy Lu and he also has three more stakes-placed horses.

Tagaloa remains at the same fee of $22,000 that he was last year.
