Pride of Jenni to Visit I Am Invincible - Match Made in Heaven

Media Release - Tuesday June 3

Three-time Champion Sire I Am Invincible has been confirmed as the first mating for reigning Australian Champion Racehorse of the Year Pride Of Jenni, who will head to the breeding barn this season following a phenomenal racing career.

“I Am Invincible, what he’s been able to do is incredible. I’m in awe of what he’s been able to produce so I think we’ll get a good one out of Pride Of Jenni,” said owner Tony Ottobre.

“I did look at the top stallions that were already here and I Am Invincible came up as a really good cross with her line of Street Cry, but also the fact that it’s doubling to a superstar broodmare, Eljazzi. Eljazzi being the mother of Rafha, being the mother of Invincible Spirit. And Eljazzi, who’s the mother of Al Anood who’s the mother Pride Of Dubai.

“For me, I like the Tesio way of thinking - who got a lot of things right with breeding to blue hen mares. He did it in the early days and produced some fantastic horses, so I’m thinking we’ll do it that way. If Tesio got it right, I was thinking I would follow him. The foal will be a doubling to Eljazzi in the first four generations.

“Apart from I Am Invincible being the superstar sire he is, it made it all very, very convincing once I saw the Eljazzi factor. He was in the top six stallions in Australia that I was looking at, and the I Am Invincible cross with Pride Of Dubai seems to have come up trumps. And that’s through the Tesio factor, not my thinking – all I’m doing is essentially following what has worked before.”

I Am Invincible will stands at a fee of $220,000.

This season alone, I Am Invincible is the leading sire by individual winners (180) and by two-year-old Stakes winners (5) – including the G1 Inglis Sires’ Produce winner Vinrock, with his 2025 yearlings selling for up to $2.3 million (filly, x Eloping).

“Vinnie is the most reliable type-getter there is, so the resultant foal - being by two champions, will be eagerly awaited, and we look forward to welcoming Pride Of Jenni and Miss Jenni Lynn - who will also visit Vinnie this season - to Yarraman,” said Harry Mitchell.

I Am Invincible will stand for $220,000 including GST this season.
