
Gypsy Diamond is in foal to outstanding stallion I Am Invincible with a September cover and has a Brazen Beau yearling colt on the ground, which will be retained by the mare's former owners.
As a racehorse, Gypsy Diamond, a daughter of Not A Single Doubt, won four of her 27 starts earning more than $750,000.
Her biggest success came in the Group II Moonee Valley Fillies Classic while also winning the Group III ATC Carbine Club Stakes and JRA Plate. She also placed in the Group I Queen Of The Turf Stakes.
One lot later, Gypsy Diamond's dam Gypsy Tucker, a Zabeel mare, sold for $800,000 in foal to Australia's leading sire Snitzel.
Aside from her Group-winning daughter, Gypsy Tucker has produced two other winners from as many runners.
Gypsy Tucker was also purchased by Yu Long Investments and they were again to the fore when buying the most expensive race filly/mare in the sale – Pageantry for $410,000.
Pageantry, a rising four-year-old was a Seymour winner on debut at two and the daughter of I Am Invincible was Listed-placed in the SAJA Cinderella Stakes in her next start.
The highest priced weanling sold was a colt from the first crop of Golden Slipper winner Vancouver out of French Deputy (USA) mare Francophile.
Francophile has produced three winners from five runners including the Group II-placed daughter of Snitzel, Moreau.
Gippsland Bloodstock paid $130,000 for the brown colt.
