Did you back something which was a good thing beaten? Or maybe just turned in an eye-catching run?

Come on, share it with the rest of us, through the 'comments' section below.

RANDWICK – Greg Polson

TANGO RAIN – Thought the Gerald Ryan-trained galloper did enough at his first run back from a break to suggest there is another win in store this preparation. A winner of two of his four career starts, Tango Rain was prominent in betting on the back of a solid trial win but couldn't overcome the outside barrier draw and a wide run in transit when third to Sangiovese and Launch Code. With the run under his belt, Tango Rain will take plenty of beating next time he steps out. Connections could be tempted to head to the Show County Quality (1200m) at Randwick on August 19 but there are a couple of nice benchmark races at Rosehill on August 26 with three weeks between runs. Career statistics (5:2-1-1).  Click here  to blackbook Tango Rain.

FLEMINGTON – Cameron Happ

SIN TO WIN – We usually try to avoid the obvious but this former Kiwi could be a real money spinner over his next few starts and even onto better races as we get deeper into the spring. He was resuming off nearly a six-month spell over 1400 metres, he took up a good spot midfield and let down powerfully closing hard right through the line. Only lightly raced for a five-year-old so he's still got plenty of upside and already a winner over a mile, he'll only improve as he steps out over a bit longer. Eligible for easier races, he can string a few wins together as he charges through the grades. Career statistics (6:3-0-3).  Click here to blackbook Sin To Win.

DOOMBEN – Graeme Carey

HAVASAY – Has been a heartbreak horse in the past but may be showing signs of turning things around. After a good first-up win at Grafton he stepped out in a strong Class 3 over 1200m and after beginning well took a sit third on the rails before shifting out in the straight and running away to win effortlessly in 1.09.28, a time significantly faster than the Open class sprinters in the following race. If he can maintain his current enthusiasm he is more than capable of handling the best sprinters that Brisbane can produce at this time of the year. Career statistics (21:4-5-3). MORPHETTVILLE – Heath Pope

BROWN BEN – Tony McEvoy trained gelding that resumed with clear career best first-up win when let down with a paralysing sprint against what was just a farcical pace up-front (the more than handy Moss N Dale really was able to steal some very cheap early sectionals going out 6.4L slower than benchmark!). Despite that, Brown Ben eventually won running away, even after a chequered passage to the line. Had previously won a trial leading into this race and to also produce this effort first-up over 1400m is even more meritorious. Obviously expect this bloke to be more than competitive in anything the stable elects to run him in second-up, especially given likelihood he will again encounter another rain affected track. Career statistics (19:5-3-1). Click here to blackbook Brown Ben.

BELMONT – Aaron Mills

PATAPUS – Looked to have finally put it all together this preparation with an impressive victory two starts back but things didn't quite pan out as planned on Saturday. After jumping awkwardly and striking the jockey in the face, Patapus ended up at the tail in a strung out field yet caught the eye as the only runner to make up any significant ground in the run to the line. This now four-year-old mare is racing like a rise to a slightly longer trip will suit and if able to jump cleanly to take up a more prominent spot will be hard to hold out. Career statistics (10:3-2-1). Click here to blackbook Patapus.
