First Season Favourite for Fairhill Farm

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Friday May 2

First season sires are always a big part of any weanling sale as the market looks to get a glimpse and hopefully a good insight into something new and Mike O’Donell of Fairhill Farm has some confidence around one of these guys.

Jacquinot

Widden Stud’s Jacquinot is a horse that makes plenty of appeal on so many levels and has made a good impression on O’Donnell.

“He’s a dual Group I winner and we thought that he was a great looking horse and well worth sending mares to,” he said.

“He’s thrown some great types and we’ve sent another four mares to him.”

Jacquinot weanlings to be offered at the Inglis Weanling Sale next Monday and Tuesday by Fairhill Farm are listed below:

Lot 210 Colt Jacquinot x Waltz, by Hinchinbrook

Third foal of a winning daughter of stakes-winner Dancer’s Tale.

Lot 334 Colt Jacquinot x Cribbage, by Eurozone

Fourth foal of a half-sister to Group I winner Good Project and stakes-winner World Airlines.

Lot 559 Filly Jacquinot x Miss Quaintly, by More Than Ready (USA)

Half-sister to two winners from a metro winning juvenile that traces back to one of the great stallion producing families of the world that has given us Sadler’s Wells and Nureyev.

Lot 572 Colt Jacquinot x My Chicharita (NZ), by Towkay

Half-brother to three winners from Group II winner My Chicharita.
