Promising Thursday Winners Bring Inglis HTBA Updates

Tara Madgwick - Thursday April 24

A couple of promising winners on Thursday brought timely pedigree updates for their siblings to be offered at the Inglis HTBA Yearling Sale on Sunday.

Trained by Danny Beasley, three year-old Starcraft filly Jato was way too good for her rivals in a Class 1 at Albury over 1400m carrying the colours of Neville Begg.

She made it two wins from three starts when bolting clear to win by more than three lengths as favourite.

Jato was purchased by Neville Begg for $25,000 from the Rosemont Stud draft at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale and sent to Danny Beasley to train and he is delighted to have the filly going so well with more wins in store.

Lot 35 - Doubtland colt from Rahveel

Jato is one of three winners from four to race from Group II placed Zabeel mare Rahveel, who has a yearling colt by Doubtland that will be offered on Sunday at Inglis HTBA in the Widden draft as Lot 35.

Also bringing a pedigree update was the Peter Snowden trained two year-old Street Boss (USA) filly Sukeban, who broke her maiden at Tamworth when scoring a determined half length win in the $35,000 Romantic Dream Plate over 1000m.

She is the sixth winner from good producer Armed for Action, a stakes-winning daughter of Exceed and Excel.

Lot 143 - Shamus Award filly from Armed for Action

Her half-sister by Shamus Award will be offered at Inglis HTBA as Lot 143 by Golden Grove Stud.
