The 2016/2017 Australian racing season has been analysed from many bloodstock points of view, but interesting to many are the nicks between certain sires that delivered above average success.

The loss of High Chaparral (IRE) as one of our best sources of classic type horses and a great foil for the many Danehill line mares is a considerable one, but with a myriad of his sire sons available this spring there is still plenty of scope to go down this path.
