Zousain 2YO Salutes for Schweida

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday April 23

Kelly Schweida has had a lot of success with Group placed Star Witness filly El Morzillo, who has banked nearly $1million in prizemoney and her two year-old half-brother by Zousain opened his account at Doomben on Wednesday.

Guac On was sent out favourite in the 1110m juvenile contest with Cejay Graham to ride and improved sharply on his unplaced debut earlier this month to score a three-quarter length win.

A $110,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase for his trainer from the Widden Stud draft, Guac On is the third winner from three foals to race from Avocado, who has done a great job so far at stud.

Guac On was a $110,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase from Widden Stud.

Widden offered a yearling filly by Dirty Work from Avocado at Inglis Premier this year and she was bought by Kellie Avison Bloodstock for $130,000.

Avocado produced a filly last spring by Sejardan and was then covered by Kingman’s Group I winning son King Colorado in his first season at Widden Victoria.

Guac On is the fourth two year-old winner this season for Zousain and they include stakes-winner Bellazaine.
