Championships Day 1 Could Deliver First Season Shake Up

The first day of The Championships at Randwick this Saturday showcases two juvenile contests, the $1million Group I ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) and $250,000 Group III ATC Kindergarten Stakes (1100m) and both races feature key runners by first season sires.

Going into Saturday the first season sires table looks like this with Ole Kirk on top ahead of Wootton Bassett (GB) and Farnan and all three sires have runners in the big races on Saturday.

Wootton Bassett, Ole Kirk and Farnan all have representation at Inglis Easter as does Cambridge Stud based Hello Youmzain (Fr), who has two entries.
