New Winner for Graff

Tara Madgwick - Friday March 28

The $30,000 Starmarker Plate (1000m) at Muswellbrook on Friday for the two year-olds produced a new winner for Graff with the Peter Snowden trained colt Telling saluting as a short priced favourite.

Third on debut at Newcastle last year and then sixth to Within the Law in the $500,000 Inglis Nursery, Telling was first up from a spell and with two recent trials was ready to go with Braith Nock in the saddle.

He led for home and kicked on to the line to win by nearly a length.

Telling was an $85,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Snowden Racing from the Yarraman Park draft and is a half-sister to Group III placed Divine Glory  being the sixth winner from six to race from 11 time winning Not a Single Doubt mare Never Doubt Me.

Telling is the second winner for Graff joining Grafterburners, who won the $500,000 Aquis Jewel.
