Second Winner for Dirty Work

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 27

Widden Stud’s young Written Tycoon stallion Dirty Work posted his second winner on Wednesday when Good as Hell saluted at Belmont.

Trained by Luke Fernie, Good as Hell improved off her debut fourth placing last Wednesday to score a neck win for Chris Parnham in the 1200m contest.

Good as Hell was a $55,000 Inglis Weanling Sale purchase for Kim Doak from the draft of Rheinwood Pastoral, who are basking in the glory of G1 success having also bred and sold Private Harry, winner of last weekend’s Group I ATC The Galaxy.

Good as Hell is the third winner and final foal from Volutina, a metro winning half-sister by Holy Roman Emperor (IRE) to stakes-winner Insistence.

Dirty Work

Good as Hell is the second winner from seven runners for Dirty Work with his other winner being the Perth stakes-winner Do I Feel Lucky.
