Debut Winner for Aquis

Opening his account with a dominant debut victory at Hawkesbury on Tuesday was the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained three year old Royal Advance, a $150,000 Magic Millions purchase for Aquis from the Burnewang North draft.

Royal Advance as a yearlingSent out a short priced favourite for the 1100 metre maiden, Royal Advance was ridden forward by Josh Parr and led for home before kicking away to win by a length and a half.

He is the fourth winner from Royal Lineup, a winning half-sister by Viscount to stakes-winner Moqueen from the family of $7million earner and four-time Group I winner Criterion.

From the last crop of foals by former high class sire Commands, Royal Advance is raced one out by Aquis Farm under the management of Kacy Fogden, the Pre-Training and Racing Manager at Aquis.

Aquis will make their presence felt at the upcoming 2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale where they will present a draft of 15 including youngsters by champion sires Snitzel, Fastnet Rock and Exceed and Excel. Click here to see the draft.
