The Ciaron Maher trainee was runner-up in the G2 Percy Sykes Stakes at Randwick at her second start as a 2YO, however it was as a Spring 3YO that Tiz Invincible really made a name for herself.

In the Listed The Rosebud over 1100m at Rosehill, she carried 58kg to beat the likes of subsequent G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Griff and talented colt The Instructor on her 3YO debut.

At her next two starts she won both the Furious Stakes over 1200m and the Tea Rose Stakes over 1400m, both at G2 level at Randwick. In the former race, she saw off 11 rivals including the likes of Kimochi, Mumbai Muse, Summer Loving, Platinum Jubilee, Autumn Ballet, Lazzago, Amazonian Lass and others.

Amongst the 15 rivals that she defeated in the Tea Rose were the likes of Tropical Squall, Zardozi, Kimochi, Tutta La Vita etc.

A $550,000 purchase at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Segenhoe Stud, Tiz Invincible was purchased by Bahen Bloodstock/Ciaron Maher Racing/Eric Lucas/Astute Bloodstock and is a product of one of the best families in the Australian Stud Book.

By Champion Sire I Am Invincible, Tiz Invincible is out of a half sister to 9-time G1-winning champion Anamoe, a family synonymous with G1 success in Australia.

Will Bourne, Head Of Bloodstock for Ciaron Maher Racing described Tiz Invincible as “the complete package”.

“I remember her as a yearling like it was yesterday, she was beautiful and has continued to develop into a model specimen,” said Bourne.

“She has top-class form beating all the best 3YO fillies in Australia and she still has plenty more to offer as a racing prospect."

For Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch, Tiz Invincible is a “hugely important” addition to the catalogue.

“Mares like Tiz Invincible so rarely come on the market,” said Hutch.

“She was a dominant sprinting 3YO filly in Sydney in the Spring of her year – she was too slick for everything.

“So combine her race record with an exemplary physique and a world-class pedigree and you have one of the most desirable lots to have ever been offered at a Chairman’s Sale.”

Tiz Invicible joins what is an already stellar line-up for the Chairman’s Sale which includes champion mare Bella Nipotina, record-breaking mare I Am Me, Estriella, G1 winner Royal Merchant, top-class mare Semana, Enbihaar (dam of top-class filly Too Darn Lizzie), Calavarite (dam of G1 winner Golden Mile), Whatalovelyday (dam of G1 sprinter Benedetta), talented performers Mumbai Muse, Dancing Alone, Grinzinger Belle, Sirileo Miss, She Dances, Eagle Nest, Lekvarte, Foxy Cleopatra, Stakes-winning 2YO Castanya and the dam of this season’s high-class 2YO Field Of Play, amongst many others.

Chairman’s entries must close soon so to enter, contact a member of the Inglis bloodstock team or CLICK HERE.

The Chairman’s Sale will be held at Riverside on the evening of Thursday May 8.
