MM Adelaide Next for Valiant Stud

Fresh from selling the sale-topper at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in Sydney when their colt by The Autumn Sun from Talimena sold for $520,000, Fergal Connolly and his team at Valiant Stud are now focusing on Magic Millions Adelaide where they will present five youngsters by five different sires and they will be available for inspection from Thursday.

Valiant Stud sold the sale-topper at Inglis Classic this year.

Valiant Stud have a proven track record as a source of quality horses with current star performers plucked from their drafts including Group I winning mare Kimochi and Golden Slipper contender North England and their sale in Adelaide kicks off early with Lot 51.

Wild Ruler filly from Ollagua is from the family of G1 winning 2YO Return to Conquer.

From the first crop of Snitzel’s Group I winning sprinter Wild Ruler, this powerful bay filly is the first foal of Ollagua, an unraced Fastnet Rock mare with a big pedigree.

She is a grand-daughter of Group II winner Portillo, the dam of Group II winner Ghisoni (dam of SW Renosu) and the dam of Group III winner Larkspur Run. An exciting new addition to the family unbeaten 2YO colt Return to Conquer, who won the Group I Sistema Stakes in New Zealand last Saturday and is by Wild Ruler’s sire Snitzel.

Half-sister to Group II placed Commander Harry and two more winners from a winning sister to the dam of Group I VRC Victoria Derby winner Johnny Get Angry.

Lot 139 Colt Captivant x So Tempted, by Jeune (GB)

From the first crop of Group I winning 2YO Captivant. Half-brother to dual South African Group I winner Happy Archer and stakes-winner Femina Fashion, plus six more winners with the dam doing a great job with eight winners from 10 foals to race.

Lot 241 Colt Harry Angel (IRE) x Annalysium (NZ), by Darci Brahma

By the sire of Group I winner Tom Kitten. Second foal of a winning daughter of stakes-winner Princess Annaliese from the family of Group III winner Grondorff.

Lot 393 Colt Zousain x High Beam, by So You Think

Third foal of a winning half-sister to the dam of Group III winning and Group I placed $1.4million earner Steparty from the family of Group II winner Right to Party, who is by Zousain’s sire Zoustar. He has a double cross of Redoute's Choice as does Zousain's Golden Slipper contender Bellazaine and his G3 winner Amelita.
