Widden 10 for MM Adelaide

Widden Stud are used to presenting huge drafts of yearlings at the major sales, but have gone short and sweet for Magic Millions Adelaide with a draft of 10 that includes a colt by the current leading two year-old sire in the country Ole Kirk and five youngsters by Widden’s proven G1 sire Trapeze Artist.

With six winners from 12 starters including two stakes-winners, Ole Kirk is doing a great job and sired Ole Dancer to win the Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic last week.

Lot 378 is an Ole Kirk half-brother to Melbourne metro winner Some People Callme and is the third foal of Genesta, an unraced sister to stakes-placed Extra Olives, the dam of stakes-winner Spicy Martini.

The third dam of this quality colt is Champion 3YO Filly Alinghi, a four time Group I winner.

With his oldest progeny just four year-olds, Trapeze Artist has sired the winners of over $11million in prizemoney with Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Griff his  standout along with Group winners Facile and Ducasse, who won impressively first up from a spell and runs in the Group II ATC Ajax Stakes this Saturday.

Lot 140 Filly Trapeze Artist x Soho Ruby, by Northern Meteor

Full sister to Soho Artist, who won at Goulburn on Tuesday and has now won two of six starts in the Bjorn Baker stable. This filly is the fourth foal of Group III placed Soho Ruby from the family of Group I VATC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Knowledge.

Lot 175 Filly Trapeze Artist x Thoughtful Harmony, by So You Think

Second foal of a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Little Surfer Girl, the dam of triple Group I winning $9,million earner Fangirl. Second dam is triple Group I winner Special Harmony, a sibling to Group II winners Redwoldt and King Canute.

Third foal of stakes-winner Fox Swift, a grand-daughter of Group II winner Pay My Bail, the dam of multiple Group II winner White Moss and stakes-winner White Sage.

Half-brother to five winners including stakes-winner Anjana and is from a daughter of Group III winner Shelbourne Lass and half-sister to Group III winner Elusive Touch.

Lot 450 Colt Trapeze Artist x Love Commands, by Commands

Half-brother to three winners including Group III winner Sky Command and is from a winning daughter of Group III winner Sky Love and half-sister to the dam of Group II winner Amor Victorius and stakes-winner A Lot More Love.
