With the official covering stats released by Australian Studbook this week we’re delving into the data to find the interesting stuff – here are the stallions that served the dams of Group One winners in the last 12 months.

In the interests of some more detail, we’ve added the NZ based mares, with the Cambridge Stud duo of Chaldean and Hello Youmzain faring well, serving the dams of Ceulwolf, El Castello and Pride Of Jenni.

On the home front, Arrowfield Stud’s Snitzel served the dams of four winners and Dundeel three, while Widden’s Zoustar also got three.
