Doncaster Weights Released – Yulong Import Mares – Who Are They?

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 26

Weights are out for the Group I Doncaster mile with Via Sistina (IRE) given top weight of 60kg, but unlikely to start with the Group I ATC Queen Elizabeth Stakes her preference, however Yulong can still take a hand with their new raft of expensive imported mares.

Group I winners Anisette (GB) and Moira (Can) have both been given 54kg with Chris Waller to train.

Irish bred Anisette(IRE) is a triple Group I winner in North America, the five year-old Awtaad mare was bought by Yulong for $US1.8million at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale last year.

Also in the weights for the Chris Waller stable at at 53kg is Full Count Felicia (USA), a six year-old War Front mare that won the Group I Woodbine EP Taylor Stakes and was bought by Yulong for $US1million from the Fasig-Tipton November Sale.
