Another Spirit of Boom 2YO SW for Lindsay Park

Tara Madgwick - Saturday February 22

The Lindsay Park racing team already have one juvenile stakes-winner in the stable this season by Spirit of Boom in Shining Smile and now they have another with promising filly Gin Spirit taking out the Listed SAJC Cinderella Stakes (1050m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

A winner on debut at Morphettville on January 25, Gin Spirit then took on the top fillies when sixth to Palm Angel in the Group II MRC Blue Diaomnd Prelude and appreciated the drop in class for this assignment.

Produced at the right time by Jason Holder, Gin Spirit powered home to win by a length and a quarter.

Gin Spirit was a $210,000 Magic Millions purchase from Bell River Thoroughbreds for Lindsay Park Racing and has now won two of three starts for her big syndicate of owners earning over $100,000 in prizemoney.

Gin Spirit was a $210,000 Magic Millions purchase.

Bred by Bell River Thoroughbreds in partnership, Gin Spirit is a half-sister to stakes-placed Grim Reaper and is the best of four winners from Premeditated, an unraced half-sister by Commands to stakes-winner Malice from the family of Group I winners Criterion and Comin’ Through.
