A five year-old daughter of former Spendthrift sire Swear, Regal Vow broke her maiden in May of 2023 and has worked her way through the grades since then winning a Benchmark 84 event at Caulfield two starts back before finishing midfield in the Group III MRC Summoned Stakes at the end of November.

Sent into this race on the fresh  side with Craig Williams to ride, Regal Vow arrived to win by half a length taking her overall record to six wins and six placings from 16 starts with prizemoney topping $380,000.

Regal Vow was bred by Spendthrift, but is now raced by Littlefield and partners, who are looking forward to what lies ahead for this quality mare that has comes from a US Black Type female family.

Regal Vow is the second stakes-winner for Group winning Redoute’s Choice stallion Swear, who has not covered a mare since 2022.

She is the best of two winners from Regime (USA), a winning Empire Maker mare from US Group II winner Capeside Lady.

Regime now calls Queensland home and is in the ownership of Yarramalong Park. She has an unnamed two year-old colt by Better Than Ready and produced a filly by the same sire this spring before being covered by his son Group winning son Alpine Edge, who was bred and sold by Yarrramalong Park and retired to stand his first season at Clear Mountain Fairview in 2024.
