Magic Goals for Zoustar Filly - Half-Sister Inglis Premier

There were eight races run at Canterbury last night with the favourite successful in every single one and the trend continued at Randwick on Saturday with progressive Zoustar filly Zoubaby booking her ticket to the Gold Coast with a classy win in the Midway Benchmark 72 event (1200m).

Trained by Richard and Will Freedman, Zoubaby was back from a Melbourne campaign where she raced well in Black Type company finishing second in a Listed race at Moonee Valley and fifth in the Group III VRC Red Roses Stakes.

Ridden a confident race by Tommy Berry, Zoubaby led and kicked away to win by two lengths taking her overall record to three wins with prizemoney topping $175,000.

A $300,000 Magic Millions purchase from Widden Stud for Avenue Bloodstock/Richard & Will Freedman, Zoubaby is eligible for the big Magic Millions race day with the Freedmans looking to target the MM 3YO Guineas, a race they won with Fashion Legend in 2023.

Zoubaby was a $300,000 Magic Millions purchase from Widden Stud.

Will Freedman confirmed Zoubaby would follow the same path as Fashion Legend running in the Group III BRC Vo Rogue Stakes prior to the 3YO Guineas.

Zoubaby is the first foal of Magnaflight, a winning half-sister by Magnus to Group I winner Viddora.

Widden Stud will offer the half-sister by Hellbent to Zoubaby at Inglis Premier as Lot 296.
