Yes Winners Keep Coming

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 14

We know how good a sire Too Darn Hot (GB) has become having been Champion First Crop sire last season and leading the way again this year for winners and earnings with a double of new winners on Friday courtesy of Vanessi (Canterbury) and Hot Torque Invegas (Sunshine Coast), but tracking him all the way on the score of winners has been Yes Yes Yes and he added a metro winner to the tally on Friday.

A $160,000 Inglis Easter purchase from Spicer Thoroughbreds from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft, It’s a Yes has had two wins and a second from just four starts banking over $55,000 in prizemoney

He made a smooth transition from his maiden win at Ararat last month to metro class and there are more wins in store.

“He trained on well from Ararat and maybe he will have one more run before a little break,” said Lindsey Smith.

“He pulls up good though and he’s a cheeky little horse, so if he keeps eating he’ll keep running.”

It’s a Yes is the second winner from Typhoon Jolie, a metro winning half-sister by Shamardal to Group II winner Formality.

Yes Yes Yes has sired 20 winners this season in Australia and New Zealand and the only sire with more is Too Darn Hot on 21.
