First Winner for Hanseatic

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 7

Rosemont Stud based Hanseatic is on the board with his first winner after Tiz Worthy bolted in at Morphettville on Saturday.

Trained by Lloyd Kennewell and Lucky Yeomans, Tiz Worthy was third on debut at Bendigo last month and showed the benefit of that experience when racing clear to win the 1000m juvenile plate over 1000m by nearly two lengths.

A $38,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase from Yulong for Kennewell Racing/Group 1 Bloodstock (FBAA)/Edgar Park, Tiz Worthy was bred by Yulong, who purchased her dam Tiz My View for $350,000 in 2022 from the Inglis Broodmare Sale when she was in foal to Hanseatic.

Tiz Worthy was a $38,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase.

Tiz Worthy is the fourth winner from five foals to race from Tiz My View, a metro winning Snitzel daughter of US stakes-winner Miss Tizzy (USA),

She is the first winner from three starters by Hanseatic and they also include the stakes-placed filly Rohesia, who was third in the Restricted Listed Inglis Banner.

A Group winning juvenile by Street Boss (USA) from the family of Black Caviar, All Too Hard and Ole Kirk, Hanseatic stands at a fee of $16,500.
