Via Sistina Half-Sister Added to Arqana December Sale

Consigned by Baroda Stud, VIA SIENNA (lot 120) has been added to the ARQANA Vente d’Élevage catalogue and will be offered during the first evening of the sale on Saturday 7 December in Deauville.

The blue-blooded VIA SIENNA is a half-sister to Australia’s current best racehorse VIA SISTINA, who was bought by Yulong last year at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale for 2.7million guineas and has taken all before her in Australia for new trainer Chris Waller.

A Group I winner in Ireland of the Pretty Polly Stakes, Via Sistina has since added further Group I wins in Australia to her resume taking out the Group I MVRC Cox Plate in track record time as well as the Group I VRC Champions Stakes, Turnbull Stakes and the ATC Ranvet Stakes and Winx Stakes.

Via Sienna is an unraced 2YO filly.

A two-year-old daughter of Bated Breath, VIA SIENNA it out of Nigh, a half-sister by Galileo to dual Group I winning sprinter and multiple Group scorer KINGSGATE NATIVE. She hails from the family of 1,000 Guineas (Gr.1) winner LAS MENINAS and Group scorers SHEER VIKING and SIGNORA CABELLO.
