King Darci and Steyne were both well found and then punters weighed in on Invincible Gem to beat stablemate Le Romain in the feature race, the Missile Stakes.

TAB.com.au has supplied Racenet with a review of exchanges with punters at Randwick on Saturday.

Race 1, BM75: It was a tough start to the day at Randwick for favourite backers. Addictive Nature ($2.30) and Brave Song ($2.60) dominated the market with 85 percent of the total hold. Shogun Sun ($9-$19) defied a betting drift to land the cash over Addictive Nature. Solar Patch ($9) ran a brave third after doing all the work. BETS: Addictive Nature $10,000 @ $2.30; Shogun Sun $300 x $700 e/w @ $13/$4.95.

Race 2, BM76: Wahng Wah ($6.50-$5.50) came from near the tail of the field to win. Rachel King's mount had some specking to suggest it would run a big race but most TAB customers were in the corner of Diapason ($4.80) and La Chica Bella ($3.30-$4.20). Long Time Ago was the money horse late and as a result overtook favouritism at $3.90 from La Chica Bella. BETS: Wahng Wah $3,500 @ $1.90 place.

Race 3, BM81: Some big bets were landed on King Darci here. Backed from $3.90 in the morning to as low as $3.10, the Tim Martin-trained runner started a $3.30 favourite. The son of Darci Brahma hit the front in the final 200 metres to score easily over the leader Imperator Augustus and Francesco. Imperator Augustus ($4.20) had good backing throughout the day with only the winner holding more money. Francesco ($5.50) was the third best supported and came from last on the turn to get third.

Race 4, TAB Highway: Matthew Dunn took out another TAB Highway and this time it was courtesy of the heavily backed Care To Think . Even though it drifted late from $1.90 out to $2, TAB reopened the market this morning with $2.30 still available. Makfi Lass ($5) ran on well for second while Puzzling Wonder ($17-$26-$21) filled third after racing just off the speed. Care To Think held 32 percent of the money but that was just short of Gitan ($4.60-$4.20) who was slightly more popular. The latter attracted big money late but couldn't finish off after leading. Of the others, Dane Thunder was a significant firmer from $9 into $5.50. BETS: Care To Think $3,600 @ $2.40, $3,637 @ $2, $5,000 @ $1.90; King Darci $3,000 @ $3.10 twice; Imperator Augustus $1,900 @ $4.20; Francesco $4,000 @ $5.50.

Race 5, BM85: Sayed defied a big betting drift in the fifth event of the day. The Chris Waller-trained runner went out the gate from $2.80 to $4.60 in the market but still held favouritism. Sayed swept to the lead inside the 200 metre mark to beat a gallant Get On The Grange ($11) with the big firmer Go Benny ($10-$6) running third. Despite drifting in betting, Sayed was the most popular runner in terms of money held in front of Go Benny. BETS: Sayed $2,500 @ $3.50.

Race 6, BM90: Steyne represented a huge loss to TAB after it was impressive in winning here. Punters loaded up on the Snowden-trained runner just as they did last time out, however, they collected handsomely here. Settling fourth in the run jockey Andrew Adkins pushed the 'go' button approaching the turn and the horse did the rest to beat Admiral Jello ($7-$6) and Gold Ambition ($21-$9-$12). In one of the best moves all day, Steyne was $4.80 into $3.20 and held nearly 50 percent of the total investment. Invincible Knight ($3.70) was best tried of the others while each-way punters rallied towards So Willie ($10). BETS: Steyne $3,148 @ $3.30, $2,200 @ $3.20 twice.

Race 7, Missile Stakes: The money for Invincible Gem throughout the day proved to be spot on. Coming with a huge finishing burst, Invincible Gem ($8.50-$6.50) gunned down the heavily backed stablemate Le Romain ($2.10-$1.95) and The Monstar ($8.50). Tycoon Tara ($5-$7.50) was a noted drifter in the market as was Jungle Edge ($6-$12). Le Romain dominated the holds and was one of the best tried runners all day at Randwick in terms of money held. The Kris Lees-trained runner held 55 percent of the total investment. BETS: Le Romain $10,000 @ $1.90, $5,000 @ $1.90.

Race 8, BM80: A very late push for Sangiovese paid dividends for its backers. The Bjorn Baker-trained runner was $14 into $10 in the final five minutes of betting. Tango Rain ($3-$3.60), who went around as the most popular runner in terms of money held, wound up third. There was specking for several other runners in the race including Pro Consul ($19-$16) and Salerno ($19-$16). BETS: Launch Code $5,000 @ $3; Sangiovese $1,000 @ $12, $1,000 @ $11.

Race 9, BM83: Mana ($17-$13-$15) rounded out the day for Jason Collett on a high as it was the second leg of a running double for him. The Craig Ritchie-trained galloper got the better of Alluvion ($10) in the concluding stages. Argent D'Or ($11) grabbed third in a terrific three-way finish in front of Denarius and Kings Of Leon. Spending To Win ($5.50-$4.80) was once again the best supported runner in the race, while Kings Of Leon was clearly the second best backed. Ghostly tumbled in the market, firming in from as much as $10 early in the day to start $4 favourite. BETS: Ghostly $3,000 @ $4.60; Spending To Win $2,000 @ $4.80; Mana $1,500 @ $14.
