Trained by Michael Grantham and ridden by Steve Parnham, Diamond Scene was having his third run back from a spell and stepping up to a suitable trip. He skirted wide around the corner and finished with a rush to win by three-quarters of a length taking his overall record to seven wins from 14 starts with prizemoney topping $365,000

Diamond Scene is a half-brother to stakes-winner Adornment and is the second stakes-winner among seven winners from seven to race from stakes-placed Zabeel mare Jewelled.
