Success is no stranger at Torryburn, but results over the past 12 months have really put the spotlight on a highly successful boutique breeding operation that consistently produces good horses.
Torryburn bred and sold Fastnet Rock sprinter Deploy was in hot form at the
start of spring, reeling off course record breaking wins in the Group III ATC
Show County Quality and then the Group II ATC Theo Marks Stakes for his owners,
who also include Torryburn Stud. Prepared by Gerald Ryan, he ended the year with earnings in excess of $700,000 and as a five year-old gelding, he no doubt has more wins in store.
Evergreen sprinter Terravista, was foaled and raised at Torryburn, and recaptured his glory days in 2017 winning the Group I VRC Lightning Stakes at the start of the year and finishing a close second in the Group I VRC Darley Classic at the end of it.
The Joe Pride trained eight year-old has won over $2.6 million in prizemoney.

Hot King Prawn was plucked from the Torryburn Stud Inglis Classic draft for $90,000 and is yet to taste defeat!
