The Anthony Cummings trained filly Lady Zodiac was having her first run back from a spell in the 1000m three year-old maiden and although beaten narrowly on the line, she was awarded the race in the steward’s room.

Her rider Tom Sherry protested successfully after runner up Gunroom ducked out sharply in front of Lady Zodiac clearly impeding her path.

Lady Zodiac was an $80,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Coolmore draft and is the first foal of winning Fastnet Rock mare Constellations, a grand-daughter of Group III winner Half Glance.

Constellations is married to Yes Yes Yes and has a two year-old colt by the Everest winner and produced another colt by him this spring.

Standing at Coolmore this spring, Yes Yes Yes had a new stakes performer last Saturday when Firm Agreement was third in the Group III ATC Gloaming Stakes and has a stakes runner this Saturday with Doralee to line up in the Group III ATC Reginald Allen Quality.
