Media Release - Friday September 20

A share in G1 performer Osipenko (pictured), a draft of 18 racehorses from Godolphin and a number of quality breeding prospects are among several highlights in the Inglis Digital September (Late) Online Sale.

The catalogue – which is now open for bidding at inglisdigital.com – consists of 305 lots including 176 racehorses (82 race fillies), 50 broodmares, 40 racehorse shares, 30 yearlings and 9 unraced stock.

An unreserved 10% share in the Chris Waller-trained Osipenko (Pierro) will likely ensure the lucky winning bidder will have an immediate G1 presence this spring carnival.

The 5YO – who is already a dual G2 winner and finished 3rd behind Mr Brightside and Alligator Blood in last year’s G1 Makybe Diva Stakes – is set to kick off his spring campaign in next weekend’s G2 Shannon Stakes at Rosehill before a potential G1 Epsom Hcp start the following Saturday.

The Godolphin draft includes Group-winning 2YO Heuristic (Street Boss), Stakes winner Sandpaper (Snitzel) and Stakes placed Legio Ten (Exosphere).

All the Godolphin horses are available for inspection at either Northwood Park, Osborne Park or Kelvinside.

To arrange an inspection contact Tayla Gilmore on tgilmore@godolphin.com.

Among the plethora of breeding prospects are Philonize (Reward For Effort) and Kakariko Village (Shooting To Win).

Smart sprinter Philonize is a winner of six of her 12 career starts and Stakes placed at her penultimate start.

The 6YO mare, who hails from the top-class international family of Last Tycoon, Immortal Verse and Zipping, is offered as a breeding prospect.

Kakariko Village presents an exciting opportunity for breeders.

A half sister to G1 winner and $1.6m broodmare Bonham, Kakariko Village is the dam of last weekend’s impressive 12.5 length barrier trial-winning 2YO Zelia.

Kakariko Village is being offered in foal to Widden Victoria’s well-credentialled young stallion Bruckner.
