The Chris Waller stable have announced the sad death of their champion Riff Rocket.

Bred and raced by the Kepitis family, Riff Rocket won three Group One races, the VRC and Australian Derbies along with the Rosehill Guineas which saw him named the Champion NSW Three Year Old of his year.

By American Pharoah out of the Smart Missile mare Missile Coda, his career spanned just 12 starts for seven wins, three placings and over $3.5million in prizemoney.
