The Australian Turf Club has released the latest order of entry for the 2018 Group I Golden Slipper, to be run at Rosehill on Saturday March 24.

Long Leaf - Grant CourtneyThe Lindsay Park Racing empire has a typically strong team of Golden Slipper aspirants, with four representatives inside the top 16, including last Saturday's Listed Blue Diamond Preview winner (1000m) Long Leaf.

Magic Millions 2YO Classic combatants Sunlight, Ef Troop, Meryl and Secret Lady are in the top 10 ranked two-year-olds despite none of their prizemoney earned from the Gold Coast's $2 million feature counting towards their position in the Golden Slipper order of entry.

This Saturday at Rosehill will host the first official Golden Slipper lead-up races, with the running of the Listed Widden Stakes (1100m) for fillies and Listed Canonbury Stakes (1100m) for colts and geldings.

Meanwhile at Caulfield, the winner of the Group III Chairman's Stakes (1000m) will likely gain a start in the Golden Slipper with $90,000 awarded to first place.
