The biggest yearling sale in the world is underway in Kentucky with the Keeneland September Yearling Sale currently working through their first session with a filly by Gun Runner setting the early pace when selling for $US1.5million.

$1.5million Gun Runner filly from Dream Dancing sets the early pace on day 1.

Consigned by Gainesway, the daughter of Group I Del Mar Oaks winner Dream Dancing was bought by Douglas Sharbauer.

$1.4million Charlatan colt from Guarana.

MV Magnier and White Birch Farm also struck early paying $US1.4million for a colt by first crop sire Charlatan from triple Group I winner Guarana consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale.

A dual Group I winner by Speightstown, Charlatan stands at Hill ‘n’ Dale a fee of $50,000.
