One to Watch – Scone

Everest hero Yes Yes Yes has had a flurry of recent winners and one of them made it two wins in as many starts when bolting in at Scone on Friday.

Trained by Matthew Smith, Silencio Porfavor won on debut at Kembla on August 10 and then stepped up to a Benchmark 64 event over 1000m and blew away his rivals to win by three lengths.

He was a short priced favourite and clocked a brisk 57.46 seconds with the promise of more wins to come.

Silencio Porfavor was a $120,000 Magic Millions purchase.

A $120,000 Magic Millions purchase for his trainer from the Vinery draft, Silencio Porfavor is the third winner from Silent Rush, a winning Charge Forward full sister to stakes-winner Assail from the family of Group I winenrs Master of Design and Suntagonal.

Yes Yes Yes has had three winners since the start of the season of five races which puts him equal leader with Zousain on the score of wins and he has several runners this weekend that can add to the tally.

Yes Yes Yes narrowly missed a winning double on Friday when his smart three year-old Si Si Milano went down by ahead at Pakenham after winning his two previous starts and he is a value option at Coolmore at a fee of $19,250 this spring.
