Cox Plate Dreaming for 3YOs Starts Now

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 7

Entries have closed for this year’s Cox Plate with all the Australian trained names you would expect to see among the list of 137 nominations, but we’re interested in the 22 three year-olds that have been entered as the very fact they’ve been entered is a good indicator as to the regard in which they are held.

One big name not in the entries is last year’s Cox Plate winner Romantic Warrior (IRE), who will be remaining in Hong Kong where he was recently crowed 2024 HK Horse of the Year. Click here to see the full list of entries.
