Alizee's Daughter Visual Excites on Debut

Mark Smith - Thursday August 1

After a date with Dubawi (GB) at Dalham Hall Stud in 2023, Alizee returned home in time to witness her first foal, Visual, make a winning career debut in the NSW Jockeys Association Maiden Plate  (1000m) at Hawkesbury on Thursday.

Ridden by Kerrin McEvoy for James Cummings, the 3-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible collared the leader Innervisions inside the 200m to win by one and a quarter lengths. The $700,000 colt Innervisions made it a 1-2 for I Am Invincible, with the Trapeze Artist colt Johnny The Kid third ahead of the Castelvecchio debutant Aeliana, who was doing her best work at the finish.

Alizee banked $3,179,800 for Godolphin. Her ten wins from  23 starts were highlighted by Group 1 wins in the ATC Flight Stakes, ATC Queen of the Turf Stakes, and MRC Futurity Stakes.

The daughter of Sepoy is a half-sister to the Group 1 ATC Golden Rose Stakes winner Astern and the highly exciting Tassort, who finished runner-up to Too Darn Hot (GB) as champion first-season sire.

Alizee has a 2-year-old Street Boss colt named Diabat.

After missing in 2022, the triple Group 1 winner travelled to England, where Dubawi covered her in November.
