Bloodstockauction.com Announces Second Stallion Cover Charity Auction

Media Release - Thursday July 25

Following the overwhelming success of our first Stallion Cover Charity Auction, we are thrilled to announce a second auction to be held from Friday 26th July 2024 to Tuesday 30th July 2024.

Click for more info.

This decision comes in response to incredible positive feedback and numerous calls from generous donors and enthusiastic buyers who supported our first auction.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the donors, bidders and supporters of our first charity auction.

Your generous contributions and enthusiastic participation have not only raised significant funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney but have also highlighted the strong sense of community and shared commitment to supporting children and families in need.

In the first auction over $60,000 was raised for the House and this is only the beginning.

“We’ve had overwhelming calls to redo the charity auction, some donors have offered 10 covers. It’s clear that the thoroughbred community truly cares about this cause and supporting this charity.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney needs funds for their ongoing costs which are getting higher every year, they need your help, every contribution is meaningful and has an impact.

Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 for the charity, this cause means the world to us because we know that the result is literally life changing for many.”

Anthony Gafa, Director (Bloodstockauction.com)

Did you know that on average it costs RMHC Sydney $58,400 to support a single family for one year? We have already raised enough funds to support 1 family for a year.

The more funds that we can raise, the more equipped the charity is to support those under their care.

If you would like to support the charity but do not own a stallion, you can make a difference by donating funds directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities via this link or by placing a bid on one of the donated covers: https://www.rmhcsydney.org.au/fundraisers/bloodstock

As we gear up for ROUND 2 of our charity auction, we invite stallion owners, breeders, stud farms and supporters to contribute stallion covers for this noble cause. Your donations will directly support RMHC Sydney in funding their daily operations and expansion efforts.

“Wow that’s amazing!! Incredible you are extending this to a Round 2 and putting more work in for our families.

There was of course absolutely no obligation for you to do this and it’s not lost on us that while you are doing this, it’s lessening the money you are bringing in as a company, so we couldn’t be more grateful.

Bring it on and fingers crossed it’s successful like Round 1 was!”

– Simone Daher, CEO (Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney)

Donating a stallion cover is a straightforward and meaningful way to contribute.

If you are interested in donating a stallion cover, please contact company Director, Anthony Gafa at 0419 433 719 or visit www.bloodstockauction.com, every contribution counts and will be greatly appreciated.

We encourage everyone to mark their calendars and participate in our upcoming charity auction. Together we can continue to make a difference and support RMHC Sydney.

Your involvement and generosity can help us achieve even greater success in this second auction.
