Zoustar Filly Wins $100,000 Super Maiden

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday July 3

After six consecutive placings, talented Zoustar filly Khaznah was well overdue to break the ice and the three year-old did it in style at Canterbury on Wednesday when landing the $100,000 Super Maiden over 1200m.

Second at her past two starts in super maiden events, the Ciaron Maher trained filly pulled out her best effort yet at her third roll of the dice, leading for home under Kerrin McEvoy and holding her rivals at bay to win by more than a length as favourite.
