Frankel cover and Godolphin draft highlight Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale

Media Release - Friday June 21

A Stakes placed mare in foal to the world’s best stallion Frankel is one of many appealing entries in the Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.

Luna Dorada (Golden Horn) is a lightly raced 4YO mare who was a winner on debut as a 2YO before running 3rd at black type level at just her third start.

Frankel

She is offered in foal to Champion stallion Frankel, whose progeny continue to excel both in the sales ring and on the racetrack.

Frankel is the sire of 25.8% black-type horses/runners from his southern hemisphere crops, including the likes of Converge, Hungry Heart, Miss Fabulass, Argentia, My Whisper etc.

Luna Dorada is one of many enticing breeding prospects being offered in the June (Late) Sale as the Southern Hemisphere breeding season nears.

11YO mare Thorsborne (Hinchinbrook) is the dam of recent G1-winning Hong Kong sprinter Invincible Sage, who was victorious in the prestigious Chairman’s Sprint Prize at Sha Tin, a race won by the likes of Chautauqua, Sacred Kingdom, Silent Witness, Lucky Sweynesse, Wellington, Beat The Clock etc.

Fabergino (Maschino) is a six-time Stakes winning sprinter – and finished 4th behind Nature Strip in the G1 Oakleigh Plate – being offered in foal to exciting young stallion Too Darn Hot.

Too Darn Hot had yearlings sell up to $1.9m in 2024 and is the sire of first crop G1 winners in both hemispheres, led by Godolphin’s multiple G1-winning 2YO superstar Broadsiding.

There is also a Godolphin draft of five race fillies and two broodmares.

Previous Godolphin drafts have included Tactless – carrying G2 winner Scarlet Oak – and Alegron, a $40,000 buy for Bjorn Baker who won last weekend’s G2 Brisbane Cup and has earned $270,000 for Baker and his new connections.

In total the June (Late) catalogue of 402 lots consists of 150 racehorses (75 race fillies), 135 broodmares, 64 racehorse shares, 37 weanlings, 13 yearlings and three unbroken stock.
