a $1.7 million Inglis Easter purchase from the draft of Arrowfield Stud for Emirates
Park Pty Ltd / B Carlson.Trained by Team Hawkes, Estijaab was second in her first trial to subsequent stakes-winner Meryl and showed good improvement from that outing to lead all the way for Brenton Avdulla.
She scored by two lengths in 53.80 seconds beating Fiesta, who was third in the Listed ATC Gimcrack Stakes on debut.
Estijaab is a half-sister to stakes-placed Alter Call and is the third foal of dual Group I winner Response, whose current yearling, another filly by Snitzel will be offered by Arrowfield Stud as Lot 235 at Magic Millions.
