G1 producer Parmalove the star attraction of May (Early) Sale

Media Release - Friday May 10

Parmalove, the dam of this season’s NZ Champion 2YO-in-waiting Velocious and a late withdrawal from The Chairman’s Sale due to a minor cut prior to travelling to Sydney, is the standout entry in another ‘full’ Inglis Digital Online Sale.

Just as the April (Late) Sale was, the May (Early) Sale has been capped, this time at 554 entries, ensuring buyers have an incredible range of prospective purchases.

G1 producer Parmalove is in the latest Inglis Digital sale.

Parmalove is being offered in foal to leading young sire Satono Aladdin, whose dual G1-winning daughter Pennyweka realised $1.6m at The Chairman’s Sale on Thursday night.

The 11YO mare suffered a minor cut to a leg when boarding the plane from New Zealand to Sydney earlier this week, where she was set to be a star offering in last night’s Chairman’s Sale.

As a precautionary measure, her connections opted to withdraw her from the Chairman’s Sale to ensure they were able to treat the minor wound adequately, with the intention of using the Inglis Digital platform to offer her instead.

Parmalove (pictured) is available for inspection at Inglewood Stud in New Zealand.

If buyers are unable to get there to inspect her, contact Inglewood’s Gus Wigley on +64 21 741 233 for any queries or inspection notes.

Parmalove is one of many highlights in the May (Early) Sale which also includes a 38-strong draft by Yulong - which includes weanlings, broodmares, race fillies, racehorses and a yearling - as well as 12 Godolphin racehorses including twice Group placed 4YO Dubai Poet, the lightly raced Lonhro 3YO Balkans and the dual hemisphere performer Legend Of Dubai.

Margaret’s Banter is another intriguing entrant; the broodmare is carrying a 7/8 sibling-in-blood to the high class G1-winning colt Veight.

There is also a seven-horse reduction for Highgrove Stud featuring Stakes producers, Stakes performers and well-related mares in foal to the likes of Stay Inside, Bivouac, Captivant, In The Congo and North Pacific.

In total the Inglis Digital May (Early) catalogue of 554 entries is made up of 216 racehorses (87 race fillies), 197 broodmares, 54 weanlings, 47 yearlings, 39 racehorse shares and 1 unbroken stock.
