MM National Weanling Catalogue Now Online

The quality packed 2024 edition of the Magic Millions Gold Coast National Weanling Sale is now online.

The Southern Hemisphere's best producing sale of its kind has attracted an outstanding line up of 377 youngsters by 94 individual sires.

Among those sires represented are 15 with first crop members led in numbers by Home Affairs (20 lots), Stay Inside (14), St Mark's Basilica (14) and Wild Ruler (14).

There are 20 entries from the first crop of dual G1 winner Home Affairs.

"There are more horses across more levels than any sale of its type," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said. "All buyers will be able to participate on exceptional prospects across all sections of the market."

"More than 25 per cent of Book One offerings are from a black type mare - by sires including Frankel, Snitzel, Pierro, The Autumn Sun, Zoustar, Stay Inside, Written Tycoon, So You Think, Toronado, St Mark's Basilica, I Am Invincible, Exceed and Excel, Extreme Choice, Capitalist, Home Affairs and Farnan."

"We are incredibly proud of the success of graduates of the sale - from current Group One stars like Tropical Squall and Veight to world class stallions Stay Inside, Pierro and Zoustar."

Group winning mares with progeny catalogued include Amicus, Miss Mossman, Amelia's Dream, Atlantis Dream, El Daana, Fursa, I'll Have a Bit, Villa Verde, Delectation Girl, Shared Reflections, Long Time Ago, Shazee Lee, Agent Pippa, Te Akau Rose, Wawail, La Mexicana, Vergara, Vinicunca and Vulpine.

The Weanling Sale kicks off the seven day National Sale selling extravaganza on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 May, with the fillies and broodmares to take centre stage from 28 to 30 May and the yearlings on 4 to 5 June.

This year's sale has been enhanced with the addition of the new $1 million Magic Millions National 2YO Classic, restricted to Magic Millions Race Series nominated horses, to be run over 1000 metres under lights at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Friday 24 May.

The catalogues for the National Broodmare and Yearling Sales will be released online over the coming days.
