Stallion Syndicates – What Did They Buy This Year?

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday April 16

Last week we had a look at the purchasing of stallion syndicates in terms of the sires they like to support, but this week we’re looking at their purchases this year and which vendors they keep going back to.

One interesting fact highlighted by the data is the rise of Newgate in terms of their prolific purchases made in conjunction with partners and their position as an elite vendor.

The Newgate empire is about to expand significantly with a number of high profile colts ready to embark on stud careers this spring including Militarize, who was bought as a yearling, King’s Gambit, bred in partnership with Gooree Stud and Ozzmosis, who was acquired at the end of his juvenile season.
