On Day Two of the William Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, there will be standing room only when the Pierro x Winx filly takes centre stage.

It would have been relatively easy to add fifty more to the following Hot Lots, but here goes for brevity.

Lot 255 Colt Hello Youmzain (FR) x Ruqqaya (Van Nistelrooy) Consignor:  Trelawney Stud

Half-brother to dual Group 1 winner and promising sire Grunt, Group II winner Zayydani, and stakes-placed Addison.

Dam is a winning half-sister to Ocean Park.

Lot 260 Colt Maurice (JPN) x Sarraqa (Snitzel) Consignor:  Arrowfield Stud

This colt received the best possible update when his half-brother Celestial Legend charged home to win the Doncaster Mile on Saturday.

Dam is an unraced three-quarter-sister to Group 1 winners Rafeef and Mustaqeem out of the multiple Group 1 winner National Colour.

Lot 293 Colt Snitzel x Silent Sedition (War Chant) Consignor:  Arrowfield Stud

Brother to the $2,200,000 top-priced filly here in 2022. Named Kyle's Magic, she was an impressive barrier trial winner at Rosehill in January.

Dam was an outstanding racehorse; her seven wins were highlighted by the Group 1 William Reid Stakes.

From the family of Group 1 Coolmore Classic heroine Porto Roca and her Group 1 Dubai World Cup winning son Monterosso.

Lot 301 Filly I Am Invincible x Snitzerland (Snitzel)  Consignor:  Vinery Stud

Half-sister to Group III Maribyrnong Stakes winner Hard Landing and stakes-placed Saas Fee.

Dam won eight highlighted by the Group 1 Lightning Stakes and was runner-up in the Golden Slipper and Galaxy.

Lot 304 Colt Zoustar x Solar Charged (Charge Forward)  Consignor:  Widden Stud

Brother to triple Group 1 winner Sunlight, Group III winner Sisstar, the $3,000,000 Kandinsky Abstract and the $2,600,000 top-priced filly at the 2023 Magic Millions, who has been named Clean Energy and has trialled impressively for Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Lot 332 Colt Gun Runner (USA) x Sweet Marini (USA) (Marino Marini) Consignor: Newgate Farm.

Sire is a sensation in North America.

A half-brother to stakes-winner Sweet Harmony, this colt's dam is a stakes-winner at Del Mar and runner-up in the Grade II Santa Monica Stakes.

Lot 333 Colt I Am Invincible x Sweet Sherry (Bel Esprit)   Consignor:   Silverdale Farm

Dam is a Group II winning half-sister to multiple Group II winner Arinosa.

Her first two foals have made $1,350,000 and $1,100,000. The latter is the smart 2-year-old Exceed And Excel filly Eneeza, winner of the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes and placed in the Group III Ottawa Stakes, Group III Chairman's Stakes, and was fourth in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes.

Lot 335 Colt Snitzel x Sword of Light (New Approach) Consignor:  Widden Stud

Dam a top-class racemare winning five including the Group II Let's Elope Stakes and Group III Blue Diamond Preview.

Her Fastnet Rock filly sold for $1,000,000 here in 2022.

A deep black-type family descending from Contract Racing's blue hen Razor Blade.

Lot 360 Colt Wootton Bassett (GB) x Tulip (Pierro) Consignor: Coolmore Stud

Dam won the Group III Magic Night Stakes, Group III Typhoon Tracy Stakes, and was third in the Golden Slipper.

Tulip is a sister to the promising 3-year-old Les Vampires, who was third behind Celestial Legend and Encap in the Group II Hobartville Stakes, and the Group III-placed Siskorsy, and a half-sister to Group III Caulfield Classic winner Sacred Eye.

Lot 365 Filly Lucky Vega (IRE) x Unforgotten by Fastnet Rock Consignor: Yulong

Yulong splashed out $2,750,000 for Group 1 ATC Australian Oaks heroine Unforgotten. This is her second foal for the daughter of Fastnet Rock.

The first, an I Am Invincible filly named Anyone, was purchased for $650,000 by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) and is in training with Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr.

Lot 391 Filly Pierro x Winx (Street Cry) Consignor:  Coolmore Stud

What's left to be said?

The first, and to date only, foal of the champion Winx the Horse of the Year in Australia in 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19. 37 wins– 33 in succession – 25 Group 1 and $26,451,175.

A rare offering indeed.

Lot 413 Colt Snitzel x All Too Soon (All Too Hard) Consignor: North

Second foal of the winner of four and multiple Group III-placed half-sister to stakes-winner and Group II runner-up Rock Hero out of the two-time Group II winner and multiple Group 1-placed Galileo mare Gallant Tess.

Lot 418 Colt I Am Invincible x Anaheed (Fastnet Rock) Consignor: Segenhoe Stud 

Second foal of multiple Group II winner and Group 1-placed Anaheed, who banked over $1,500,000.

A half-sister to stakes-winner Farooq, Anaheed is a daughter of the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes winner Rostova.

A brother to this colt sold for $2,700,000 last year. He has been named Superluminal and is in training with Chris Waller.

Lot 427 Colt Zoustar x Aristia (Lonhro) Consignor: Vinery Stud

The first foal of the Group 1 VRC Oaks and Group II Wakeful Stakes winner Aristia a half-sister to Group 1 Oakleigh Plate winner Marabi.

Lot 443 Filly I Am Invincible x Booker (Written Tycoon) Consignor:  Coolmore Stud

Second foal of the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate winner Booker. Her first foal, an I am Invincible colt named Railway Man sold for $2,500,000 last year.

A sister to stakes-winner and multiple Group placed Banquo, Booker was a $1,600,000 buy for Tom Magnier at the 2020 Inglis Chairmans Sale.  

Lot 452 Filly Snitzel x Carry on Alice (SAF) (Captain Al) Consignor:  Arrowfield Stud

Dam a 5-time Group 1 winner in South Africa.

Her three yearlings to sell are all by Snitzel and have made $1,100,000, $700,000, and $400,000.

Her $1,100,000 2-year-old Snitzel colt Manos has been trialling impressively for Peter and Paul Snowden.

Lot 478 Filly Exceed and Excel x Dame Giselle (I Am Invincible) Consignor:  The Chase

First foal of the crack racemare Dame Giselle a 4-time Group II winner and Group 1-placed in the Coolmore Classic.

Dame Giselle is a three-quarter sister to the Listed Merson Cooper Stakes winner Steal My Kisses and a half to The Fairy's Kiss, the dam of Group 1 Sistema Stakes winner Ulanova.
